Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
ITS Learning Technology and Client Services is committed to delivering responsive, high quality, customer-oriented services and support that enable a productive and stable instructional, research, and administrative environment for the students, faculty, and staff of UNCG. The unit supports the full lifecycle of technology solutions through the acquisition, implementation, management, and support of instructional, research, and business software applications, including enterprise learning, research, and office use technologies. It also maintains and supports technology-equipped learning spaces, open-access computer labs, and hyflex environments, while providing reliable internal and external ITS communication services, including web and mobile application development. In addition, the unit facilitates computer hardware and peripheral device acquisition, installation, and repair, and offers training, consultation, and direct client assistance to support effective use of technology across the university. Through active participation in campus-wide initiatives, the team ensures that evolving information technology needs are assessed and addressed in alignment with institutional priorities.
The Elliott University Center, a department within the Division of Student Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, serves as a central hub for campus life and a key contributor to the student experience. The Elliott University Center enhances student learning and development by providing spaces and opportunities for engagement, entertainment, social interaction, and personal growth. It supports an inclusive and diverse campus community through programs and services designed to foster connection and belonging. Additionally, the Elliott University Center provides a secure and accessible environment for meetings, conferences, workshops, and professional development, serving students, faculty, staff, and the broader Greensboro community.
Position Summary
The EUC Technical Services Coordinator reports to ITS and serves as a frontline technical resource providing audiovisual, presentation technology, and instructional technology support across Elliott University Center spaces and campus classrooms. This position ensures that technology systems in meeting rooms, conference spaces, and event venues are operational, well-maintained, and ready to support the diverse needs of the campus community.

The position works with student organizations, university departments, faculty, and external clients to assess technology needs and resolve issues related to presentation equipment, hybrid meeting systems, and classroom technology. Responsibilities include supporting audiovisual systems, providing guidance to building users, and assisting with events and scheduled programs.

This position collaborates with other members of the Classroom Technology team and the Technical Services team and campus partners to coordinate daily technology support and contribute to maintaining consistent, high-quality audiovisual and instructional technology services throughout the Elliott University Center.
Minimum Qualifications

Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates Preferred Qualifications
