Position Summary:
The UI Developer is responsible for implementation of visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. It includes collaboration with both front-end and back-end developers to build all client-side logic.
Responsibilities include:
Taking ownership of the UI for the client's internal and external web applications
Development of new user-facing features
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
Assurance that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education Experience:
Minimum Bachelors of Science in one or more of the following: Engineering, Information Systems/Management, Operations Management/Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related sciences (or commensurate professional experience).

Qualifications

Skills Required:
Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
Solid experience in at least one modern JavaScript frameworks (like AngularJS or ReactJS)
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, and partial page updates
Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js
Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
HTML5 and CSS3
Working with REST APIs
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
