Job description

Entry Level Benefits Sales Representative (100% Remote)

AO Globe Life | 100% Remote | Full-Time | Entry-Level | Training Provided

A Remote Sales Opportunity Built Around Real Client Conversations

Not every sales position starts with cold calls, door-to-door visits, or finding strangers to contact.

This role is focused on working with individuals who have already requested information and are scheduled to speak with a representative. The goal is simple: understand what the client is looking for, provide clear information about available benefits, and help them complete the next steps.

As an Entry Level Benefits Sales Representative, the candidate will receive training on the products, sales process, virtual tools, and systems used to support clients.

Previous insurance experience is not required.

What the Role Involves

  • Speak with clients through scheduled phone and virtual appointments
  • Review the information and benefit options available to each client
  • Ask questions to understand individual needs and priorities
  • Provide clear explanations of insurance and supplemental benefit options
  • Help clients complete applications and enrollment steps
  • Keep client records and follow-up information organized
  • Follow up with clients when additional information is needed
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and coaching sessions
  • Use online platforms and company systems to manage daily activities
  • Build stronger communication, sales, and client-service skills through hands-on experience

What Makes This Different From Traditional Sales

The position is designed around scheduled client appointments rather than field prospecting.

There is no requirement to:

  • Go door to door
  • Travel to customers' homes
  • Maintain an in-person sales territory
  • Perform street or walk-in prospecting
  • Meet clients face-to-face as part of the regular role

The work can be performed remotely with the appropriate computer, internet connection, and virtual communication tools.

The Right Background Isn't One Specific Job Title

This opportunity may be a good fit for someone who has developed strong people skills through previous work in:

  • Customer service
  • Retail
  • Hospitality
  • Call centers
  • Sales
  • Administration
  • Education
  • Account support
  • Client relations

What matters most is the ability to communicate professionally, stay organized, follow through, and learn a structured process.

Candidates should be comfortable with:

  • Speaking with people by phone and video
  • Learning new software and online systems
  • Managing scheduled appointments independently
  • Listening carefully and responding appropriately
  • Receiving coaching and applying feedback
  • Working toward individual performance goals
  • Maintaining professionalism in a remote environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time remote opportunity
  • Commission-based compensation
  • Weekly pay
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Health benefits
  • Training and structured onboarding
  • Ongoing coaching and development
  • Scheduled client appointments
  • Recognition and incentive opportunities
  • Opportunities to advance into leadership and management
  • No door-to-door sales
  • No required in-person client meetings

Training Is Provided

New representatives do not need to arrive with an insurance background.

Training introduces the products, client conversation process, technology, and day-to-day expectations of the position. Continued coaching is available as representatives gain experience.
