Collections & Recovery Analyst

The Collateral Analyst I/ Collections & Recovery Specialist will be responsible for working with the Collateral Management team to locate, process, and help systematically recover collateral from customers. This role will also utilize skip tracing tools and software provided by DFC to obtain and communicate the location of customers and the vehicles while working to collect and negotiate terms of repayment on delinquent accounts.

The Collections & Recovery Analyst reports to the DFC Collateral Supervisor.

Location: Medford,OR or Tigard,OR

Pay: $23-$25/hr

Responsibilities

  • Review and update DFC repossession log with accuracy
  • Assign repossession vehicles to 3rd party recovery agents in a timely manner
  • Utilize high level skip-tracing practices to obtain customer and vehicle location information
  • Consistently update 3rd party vendors with most recent location data for assigned collateral
  • Navigate and update 3rd part repossession assignment systems
  • Make outbound collection attempts by phone, mail, and e-mail to resolve delinquent accounts in an ethically responsible manner
  • Meet or exceed established call volume and account action requirements
  • Process recovery cost analysis & KBB for recovered vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Skip Tracing techniques is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Windows-based systems
  • Experience with outbound calls or collections is valuable
