Entry-Level Machinist

Endo-Therapeutics, Inc. – Clearwater, FL

Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: Starting at $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Endo-Therapeutics, Inc. is a growing medical device manufacturer dedicated to innovation, quality, and improving patient outcomes. We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Machinist to join our Operations team in Clearwater, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in machining and manufacturing while working in a regulated medical device environment.

What You'll Do

  • Operate manual machine shop equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and other machinery.
  • Fabricate and modify parts, fixtures, tooling, and production aids from drawings and specifications.
  • Assist Engineering and Manufacturing teams with prototypes, process improvements, and production support.
  • Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Follow all safety, quality, FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and support manufacturing operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, or machining certificate preferred.
  • 0–2 years of machining experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently after training and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely operate machine shop equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable.
