Position Overview:

Materials Testing Technicians will perform field and laboratory testing for concrete, soils, and asphalt on active construction sites and in our lab facilities.

General Requirements:

  • Work outdoors in the field and conduct lab testing.
  • Flexible schedule required, including overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (many positions require travel and use of a company vehicle).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a stakeholder mentality.
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs and navigate construction sites safely.

Preferred Certifications & Education (Training Provided!):

  • CAPA A, B
  • WAQTC
  • ACI Certified Field Testing Technician โ€“ Grade I
  • ACI Strength Testing Certification
  • Hazmat Safety
  • Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read, document, and interpret test data accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Prior experience in construction materials testing, laboratory testing, or a degree in civil or geotechnical engineering is a plus.
