We are now seeking Advanced Automotive Technicians to work safely in various roles to meet the individual needs of the customer, ensuring that they are confident in the safety of their vehicle.
Job Summary
The Service Specialist/Advanced Specialist for PVA (Jiffy Lube) is a Lube Technician that performs advanced maintenance services to ensure the safety of our customer's vehicles. The Service Specialist/Advanced Specialist may work in various positions to meet the individual needs of the customer; therefore, they are thoroughly cross trained in-house for all roles.
Job Description
  • Provide unbiased service recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines and technician findings.
  • Deliver efficient, safety-focused customer service.
  • Perform automotive maintenance and repairs across all major systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, tires, batteries, spark plugs).
  • Complete preventive services such as oil changes, fluid checks, light replacements, and wiper installations.
  • Participate in on-site and e-learning training; maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube, OSHA, and state regulations.
  • Support marketing events and promotions.
  • Maintain customer, service, and inventory records; assist with inventory stocking.
  • Perform basic housekeeping and minor building maintenance.
  • Build customer loyalty by ensuring quality workmanship, reviewing completed services, confirming satisfaction, and encouraging return visits.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of automotive service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Commitment to safety procedures
  • Willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crawl, and climb stairs
  • Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Qualifications
  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A teamwork mentality.
  • Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.
