ADVERTISING TITLE: SYSTEMS PROJECT ANALYST

This internal advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Avon Park Correctional Institution in the Field Technology Services Department.

The purpose of the Systems Project Analyst is to provide comprehensive technical support and administration for SMS-Systems Management servers and related network infrastructure, ensuring reliable system operations, software management, hardware inventory, and user assistance across multiple locations.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Install, support, and manage SMS-Systems Management servers, including maintaining backups and automating software installations.
  • Keep track of hardware and software inventory and create standards for using and updating the SMS server.
  • Analyze and upgrade hardware and software, making sure anti-virus protection is current.
  • Provide advanced technical support for computer systems and networks across different locations, including planning and improving network performance.
  • Set up servers, computers, and peripherals, help resolve complex technical issues, and train users as needed.
