Introduction

As an Entry-Level Technology Seller, you will create demand, identify opportunities, and help organizations evaluate and adopt IBM solutions. This center-based role blends consultative selling, technical demonstrations, AI-powered sales tools, ecosystem collaboration, and customer success while building a foundation for a career in technology sales and client leadership. Your role and responsibilities

  • Create demand and identify new opportunities within assigned territories, accounts, and product portfolios through outbound, inbound, and digital engagement.
  • Engage and qualify prospective customers through phone, email, social media, video outreach, campaigns, virtual events, and other digital selling channels.
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline by progressing opportunities through the sales cycle, uncovering expansion potential, and supporting renewal, upgrade, and modernization opportunities.
  • Participate in customer discovery conversations to understand business objectives, technical needs, buying criteria, and success measures.
  • Deliver virtual technical demonstrations, solution overviews, and proof-of-value discussions that connect IBM capabilities to customer business outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted sales advisor and technical advocate by maintaining contemporary product knowledge and clearly communicating IBM value propositions.
  • Collaborate with Technical Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, Business Partners, Marketing, and Ecosystem teams to advance opportunities and support deal execution.
  • Use IBM digital and AI-enabled sales tools, customer insights, market intelligence, and social selling techniques to improve engagement strategies and drive revenue growth.
