About the role
The Information Technology Intern - Level 1 Help Desk provides entry-level technical support to end users by assisting with basic hardware, software, and account-related issues. This position supports daily help desk operations while providing hands-on experience in troubleshooting, customer service, and IT support processes.
What you'll do
โ€ข Respond to and document help desk tickets and service requests.
โ€ข Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
โ€ข Assist with password resets, account access, and user support.
โ€ข Set up and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
โ€ข Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT staff.
โ€ข Maintain accurate inventory and support documentation.
โ€ข Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security practices.
โ€ข Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
โ€ข Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows and Linux operating systems, and Microsoft 365 applications.
โ€ข Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
โ€ข Ability to learn technical processes quickly and work under supervision.
