Nurse Practitioner (APRN) / Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology Role Scope

ยท         APRN/PA provides comprehensive care for adult cardiology patients in an outpatient setting and to support a busy Electrophysiology program

ยท         Management of cardiac implantable devices including pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders in an outpatient setting

ยท         Evaluation of patients pre and post intervention including patient education, clinical evaluation, medication management in the office and message triage

ยท         Electrophysiology background preferred with experience providing comprehensive management of patients with arrhythmias, knowledge of anti-arrhythmic and anticoagulation drug therapy

Shift:  Full Time โ€“Exempt- 40 hours โ€“Monday through Friday

Travel: Travel to Norwich, Branford, Wallingford

Qualifications

Advanced Practitioner Requirements

ยท         Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Masterโ€™s Program

ยท         Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or     Adult Geriatric Primary Care (AGPCNP) in the state of Connecticut

ยท         Electrophysiology / Cardiac device experience preferred
