Prescient Edge is seeking a SME Software Developer and Web Master Team Support (Computer Scientist) to support a federal government client. Description: * Shall deliver products (by uploading documents to USG servers) developed under this PWS and assist in ensuring that they are available to the greater US IC. * Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions. Proactively retrieves information from various sources, analyzes it for better understanding about the data set, and builds AI tools that automate certain processes. Duties typically include: creating various ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems. * Performs statistical analysis, applies data mining techniques, and builds high quality prediction systems. * Shall be skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau; major data science languages, such as R and Python; managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; statistical analysis; and data mining algorithms. * Shall have prior experience with large data MultiINT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics. * Lead the migration effort from traditional servers to AWS, ensuring seamless integration, minimal downtime and cost optimization. * Design and implement overall secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architecture utilizing a wide breadth of AWS services and best practices. * Design and implement solutions utilizing expert-level knowledge of AWS services including but not limited to: Identity and Access Management (IAM), compute (Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2), Lambda, API Gateway etc.), network (VPC, subnets, network security, etc.), database services (RDS) and CloudFormation. Use IAM to create users, role and groups and ensure that the principle of least privilege is always adhered to. Implement correctly sized compute resources and implement Elastic Load Balancers (ELB) and Auto-Scaling groups as needed. * Create and manage Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), subnets, Network Access Control Lists (NACL), Security Groups and firewalls. * Develop automation scripts using Python and boto3 to streamline cloud management and deployment. * Implement robust, automated infrastructure monitoring and remediation using EventBridge, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, Trusted Advisor, Config and Security Hub. * Possess a minimum certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. * Shall assist in developing and maintaining a website that is accessible by all the IC members and the various branches of the Army. * Shall perform web-based database design, implementation, and maintenance for the CI Common Operating Picture (COP) and the intelligence web pages. * Shall create and develop computer software configuration documentation, user manuals, and provide one-on-one consultation to the branch chiefs and senior analysts IAW CDRL A051. * Shall update and maintain the classified intelligence websites and associated systems; including: posting data, providing information and responding to documentation for activities such as RFI, Requests for Assistance (RFAs) and Request for Products (RFPs) on a daily basis. * Shall assist with monitoring the status of classified requests, such as RFI, RFAs and RFPs, and provide weekly updates. * Shall provide dedicated page design, development, and integration of information to web-based presentations for the Army's Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) web sites. * Shall conduct coordination with internal and external information technology service providers to help maintain and improve the sites. Job Requirements Required Experience : * At least two years of experience in website coding, basic graphics techniques, Structured Query Language (SQL), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Java, Java Applets, and JavaScript, be Security Plus certified, and be qualified at Information Assurance Technical Workforce Requirement Level II as defined in DoD 8570.01-M, Table C3.T1. Required Education: * High School Diploma- 30 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. * Associate's degree- 24 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. * Bachelor's degree- 22 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. * Master's Degree- 20 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Security Clearance: * Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Location: * Fort Meade, MD.
