Job Summary:
GIGATEC Engineering is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to play a key role in building workflow engines. The position involves designing reliable Apache Airflow pipelines to ensure efficient data movement for analytics and operational needs.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Top Secret clearance
โ€ข Favorable completion of a polygraph
โ€ข Authorized to work in the U.S.
โ€ข Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
โ€ข Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
โ€ข Recent software development experience using Python and Java
โ€ข Experience using Apache Airflow (DAG design, scheduling, operators, sensors) to orchestrate, schedule, and monitor complex workflows
โ€ข Experience using Distributed Big Data processing engines including Apache Spark
โ€ข Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, containerd, and Podman
โ€ข Experience with Git Source Control System
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
โ€ข Familiar with AWS Cloud Services and Infrastructure
โ€ข Appreciates a sense of humor and the occasional well-timed joke.
