Job description

The Consultant, Data Analytics & AI supports the design and delivery of analytics and AI solutions that help clients make better use of their data. This is an entry-level consulting role suited for candidates with a strong academic foundation and early hands-on exposure to data tools. You will work alongside senior practitioners to contribute to client engagements, build your technical depth, and develop an understanding of how analytics creates business value.

Data Analytics & Solution Development

  • Assist in the design and development of data analytics solutions aligned with client business needs.
  • Support the build-out of ETL/ELT pipelines and data models using Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and reporting.
  • Contribute to Power BI report and dashboard development, including data modeling and DAX.
  • Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across client environments.

Microsoft Fabric & Cloud Platforms

  • Develop familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI as core delivery platforms.
  • Support the configuration and testing of cloud data workflows under senior guidance.
  • Stay current on Microsoft Fabric innovations, AI Copilot features, and emerging data capabilities.

Client Engagement & Communication

  • Participate in client meetings and help track open items and action lists.
  • Assist in translating technical findings into clear documentation and presentation materials.
  • Build relationships with client contacts under the direction of project leads.

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Contribute to project workstreams with a focus on quality, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Assist with documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer artifacts.
  • Proactively flag risks or blockers to project leads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related technical role; internship or academic project experience is considered.

  • Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.

  • Exposure to Python for data analysis is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric, is preferred.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to present ideas concisely.

Preferred Qualifications
