Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an EPMAUTOMATE - EPM Cube Data Extraction Technical Developer. The role involves hands-on experience with epmautomate and Cloud Data Management, focusing on automation and data extraction processes for EPM applications.
Responsibilities:
• epmautomate Automation & EPM Cube Data Extraction
• Install, configure, and maintain epmautomate on OCI
• Develop automated scripts to: List Outbox files in EPM environment, Identify latest FCCS/EPBCS/ARCS exports, Push files to OCI Object Storage
• Manage Full and Incremental cube exports based on business need
• Configure and maintain EPM Native Scheduler export jobs. Monitor export job success, warnings, and failures through EPM Job Console
• Move files from EPM Outbox → Custom OCI Object Storage
• Have working knowledge of Oracle EPM application structure Metadata and Data including cubes and dimensions (custom and Out-of-the-Box).
• Assist Snowflake teams in understanding cube structures and slice exports.
• Ensure consistent, scheduled delivery of EPM data to Snowflake ingestion layers.
• Manage audit and logging systems: epmautomate execution logs, OS audit logs, OCI Object Storage audit logs Manage OCI VM audit logs for rclone command execution.
• Understand, discuss and review with Client Infra and networking team on networking options such as FastConnect + Direct Connect for secure, non‑internet transfers.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands‑on experience with epmautomate, including scripting and automation.
• Scripting includes Audit logging, error handling and configuration of automated e-mail notifications (if any).
• Hands-on experience of Cloud Data Management/Integration Agent.
• Practical exposure to FCCS and EPBCS application modules.
• Understanding of EPM Inox/Outbox folder structure, EPM Data export job types, and file formats.
• Groovy Scripting with EPM Automate to call REST API for Data extraction and scheduling using an external orchestrator (like OIC).
• Ability to collaborate with EPM functional teams, Snowflake engineers, and cloud admins.
• Good communication and documentation habits.
• Install, configure, and maintain epmautomate on OCI.
• Develop automated scripts to: List Outbox files in EPM environment, Identify latest FCCS/EPBCS/ARCS exports, Push files to OCI Object Storage.
