Job description

Work Flexibility: Onsite
Join a hands-on engineering team supporting the equipment and systems that keep manufacturing operations running efficiently. This entry-level role provides the opportunity to develop mechanical engineering experience across equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives while working with experienced engineering and operations professionals.
What You Will Do
  • Support the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical equipment used in manufacturing operations.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and assist in identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Investigate equipment issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring failures and downtime.
  • Assist with the maintenance and performance of facility utility systems, including heating, water, gas, and steam systems.
  • Review equipment installations, recommend design or process improvements, and maintain engineering documentation to support quality and compliance standards.

What You Will Need
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 0 years and maximum 2 years of engineering experience, including internships, co-op assignments, or full-time engineering roles.
  • Experience using engineering principles to support mechanical, electromechanical, manufacturing, or industrial systems through academic, internship, co-op, or professional experience.

Preferred:
  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
  • Lean certification at the Yellow Belt or Green Belt level.
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement, process improvement, or waste-reduction initiatives.
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, or reliability projects.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.

Additional Information
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite position supporting manufacturing and facility operations.
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be required to support project activities or equipment installations.
