Admin and Mailroom Assistant (Entry Level)

Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week; regular business hours)

Position Overview

We are a well-established law firm located in Farmington Hills, MI, seeking an Entry-Level Admin and Mailroom Assistant to join our team. This role supports both the Administrative and Mailroom departments and requires flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities. While legal experience is a plus, it is not required.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced professional environment. This position requires frequent trips to the post office; therefore, a valid driverโ€™s license and personal auto insurance are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist both the Administrative and Mailroom departments, adapting to shifting priorities
  • Coordinate with USPS and ensure the timely preparation and delivery of daily outgoing mailings
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for both electronic and hard-copy documents
  • Multitask while operating printers and mailing machines to print, scan, and mail documents efficiently
  • Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
