Job description

Junior systems administrator - handling day-to-day IT support and Windows administration. Willing to train but a solid understanding of IT fundamentals and problem solving is preferred. You will work in a Windows environment supporting users, workstations, and servers. This is an entry level position and requires you to be on call some weekends. 

What you'll do

  • Handle first-line support tickets: account lockouts, password resets, hardware and software issues, printer and peripheral problems
  • Set up, image, configure, and deploy Windows workstations for new and existing users
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group membership
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot Windows and common business applications
  • Support Microsoft Office and Outlook day to day
  • Assist with routine maintenance, patching, and monitoring of Windows systems
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures so the knowledge base stays current
  • Cabling, basic A/V, physical security, and Security Camera set up

What we're looking for

  • Comfort working in Windows Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365. Previous work with Entra and Intune preferred.
  • Clear communication and patience when helping non-technical people
  • A logical, step-by-step approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and follow-through on tickets
