Job description

Supply Chain Assistant Responsibilities:
Performs the job duties and responsibilities associated with PAR stock replenishment, storage and distribution of surgical inventory, surgical case cart preparation and clinical equipment inventory control and tracking. Provides quality and timely distribution of various product lines, supply delivery systems and equipment to medical and clinical staff for patient care procedures. Ensures the integrity of all products and equipment carried in department inventory is maintained according to established standards of practice.
  1. Performs PAR stock replenishment to designated patient care and clinical departments.
  2. Supports the respective campus with their medical/surgical supply and equipments needs upon demand.
  3. Distributes and tracks patient care equipment throughout the respective campus location.
  4. Processes and fills supply requisition orders System departments and external customers.
  5. Processes patient supply and equipment charge information.
  6. Performs surgical case cart preparation
  7. Assists with surgical sterile storage inventory control and distribution.
  8. Performs inventory management functions, including stock breakout and restocking, product shelf surveillance and physical/cycle count inventories.
  9. Maintains sufficient inventory levels of stock and non-stock items.

Supply Chain Assistant Requirements:
  • Entry Level
  • High School or Equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend the English language.
  • Successful completion on computer system training related to Supply Inventory Management.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.

Salary Range: $16.00 to $23.00/hr (based on experience)
