Beechwood Sales & Service has an excellent opportunity as a Pricing Analyst.  This position is a full-time, entry level role that will provide you valuable knowledge and experience in the beverage and distribution industry. The Pricing Analyst's overall responsibility will be pricing and costing system management for Beechwood Sales and Service. This person will be working with three other Analysts and collaborating with the chain management team. General day to day duties include working with excel, calculating margins, and pricing items.

The typical hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm onsite at our New Berlin, WI location. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pricing:

  • Successful management of pricing systems
  • Set up new items.
  • Communicate changes in pricing/discounting to staff, as required.
  • Communicate pricing with key accounts and chains.
  • Timely updates of transfer pricing.
  • Maintain discounting and analyze efficacy of instituted discounts.
  • Research/correct invoicing issues.
  • Run reports and conduct analysis to ensure gross margin goals are met.

Costing:

  • Successful management of costing systems
  • Research supplier invoicing variances.
  • Track freight invoicing and ensure accurately factored into product gross margin.
  • Assist Sales Management team in pricing communication to suppliers.

Sales Support:

  • Assist with chain account administration as necessary.
  • Build custom price files for specific accounts and territories as needed.
  • Run sales reports as necessary, special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; business, math, or economics major preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent math skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently 
  • Previous experience working in retail highly desired
  • Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed
