Job Description:ย 

The Supply Chain Management position supportsย purchasingย and sourcing activities byย assistingย with supplier pricing, material procurement, and order coordination. Helpsย monitorย purchase orders, resolve routine discrepancies, and work with internal teams and suppliers to supportย timelyย delivery and overall supply needs. Contributes to supplier management and procurement processes while following applicable company requirements and regulatory guidelines.ย 

Essential Functions:ย 

  • Supporting submission RFQ's to suppliers to develop CML (Consolidated Material Lists) pricingย 

  • Supportingย procureย material, equipment, supplies, services, and commodity products of low to medium value and medium to high volumeย ย 

  • Supporting negotiate price, delivery and quality of products/services andย determineย supplier selectionsย ย 

  • Track all Purchase Orders through reports, work matched exceptions, open commitments, receiving discrepancies, returns, supplier discrepancies, and problem reports/supplier corrective action responsesย ย 

  • Interface with receiving and accounting to resolve issuesย ย 

  • Confer with suppliers toย determineย factors that affect competitive total cost of ownership consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedulesย ย 

  • Interpret FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws, rules and regulationsย regardingย import/export control certifications and licenses

Qualifications:ย 

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing aย bachelor's degree inย Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, General Business Management, Business Administrationย or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.ย ย ย 

Preferred Additional Skills:ย 

ย ย ย  Six Sigma Green Belt or other Lean Experienceย 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $48,000 - $90,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
