Job description

Position Overview:

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will play a key role in managing inventory levels, creating and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our locations by working closely with all of our buyers. Your work will be crucial in maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and support our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Monitor and analyze inventory levels across multiple locations to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Purchase Orders: Create, process, and track purchase orders for electronic products, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of inventory needs.

Data Analysis: Utilize inventory management systems to generate reports, analyze trends, and provide insights to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Stock Replenishment: Collaborate with buyers and other departments to determine stock replenishment needs based on sales forecasts and current inventory levels.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, purchase orders, and supplier communications.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any inventory or supply chain issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a related role is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, store managers, and team members.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing and resolving issues.
