Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements, thereby supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and compliant products. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 9001. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, conduct rigorous quality audits, and foster strong supplier relationships to uphold the integrity of our supply chain.


Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance programs aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive supplier audits to evaluate compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and prepare detailed reports to support quality management decisions.
  • Perform incoming quality inspections and oversee quality control processes to ensure product conformity.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supplier quality systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Manage documentation related to supplier qualifications, approvals, and non-conformance reports.
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams to ensure adherence to quality expectations.
  • Support internal and external quality audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Analyze data trends to identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement proactive mitigation strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in supplier quality engineering within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits and implementing QA/QC procedures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tools and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
