Job description

Brunswick Industrial Services is seeking a dependable, motivated entry-level Logistics & Warehouse Support Technician to support shipping, receiving, material organization, and production floor operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and cleanliness throughout the shop and warehouse while directly supporting engineering and manufacturing operations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receive and accept inbound freight shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damage.

· Coordinate unloading of materials and properly stage inventory in designated locations.

· Assist with crating, packaging, and preparing outbound shipments to ensure safe transport.

· Maintain accurate documentation for shipping and receiving transactions.

· Organize material stock and maintain inventory storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.

· Pull and stage build materials based on inventory system data and production schedules.

· Assist production teams with material handling and general shop support as needed.

· Clean and maintain shop floors, production areas, and workspaces to company standards.

· Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (training provided).

· Drive company vehicles as required for local pickups and deliveries.

· Tow flatbed trailers (non-CDL) safely and professionally as required (training provided).

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

· Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

· Maintains organization and accuracy in material handling and documentation.

· Operates equipment safely and follows established procedures.

· Supports team members with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.

· Maintains a clean and professional shop environment at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.

· Comfortable working in an industrial shop and warehouse environment.

· Forklift experience preferred (training provided if needed).

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

· Ability to safely operate and tow flatbed trailers (non-CDL, training provided)

· Basic computer skills for inventory system use preferred.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.

· Exposure to industrial shop conditions including noise and machinery.

· Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors as required.

· Background and drug testing as required by OSHA and insurance.
