Description:

QASP-S will provide behavioral health services under the supervision of a QBA, BCBA, or ABA Program Director. The QASP-S will provide collaborative care, program development, and supervision to all entry-level staff (QBA). This position will focus on being an experienced instructor who may also provide training to staff/families, monitor the progress of goals and objectives through data collection and review, conduct assessments, and ensure that services to clients are safe, ethical, and competent while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (OT, SLP, PT, Mental Health, and ABA). This is a Hybrid Position - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.


Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise entry-level staff through initial training as well as ongoing professional development.
  • Conduct Parent Trainings.
  • Provide a supportive environment and individualize fieldwork experiences to advance the provider's skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to design and implement comprehensive behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments, review progress data, and make data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Lead training sessions for new ASPs on ABA principles, intervention strategies, and documentation procedures.
  • Educate and support parents/caregivers on implementing interventions at home and promoting generalization of learned skills.
  • Monitor adherence to ethical guidelines, program standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain caseloads, coordinate with other service providers, and communicate client progress to relevant stakeholders.

  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Must hold a current 'Qualified Autism Services Practitioner-Supervisor' (QASP-S) certification from a recognized credentialing body, typically the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of ABA, including comprehensive intervention development and implementation for children and adolescents, required.
  • 1 Year with BT or RBT supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Experienced in training, mentoring, and supporting a team in an intensive treatment environment is preferred.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise and mentor the Autism Service Team, including establishing performance expectations, developing supervision plans, conducting performance evaluations, and monitoring program progress and productivity.
