Description
TCI delivers innovative content to more than 50,000 K-12 schools across the nation via our award-winning products. As an established EdTech company, we make a difference in the lives of thousands of teachers and students every day through our programs, including the History Alive! , Social Studies Alive! , and Bring Science Alive! series.
The Content Assistant provides a wide range of support to the Product Team, with a focus on entry-level tasks that help team members move forward faster. Key responsibilities include:
  • Manages maps, images, artwork, and other assets through in-house tools and training to ensure all TCI assets are properly licensed and tracked.
  • Completes tasks across a wide range of editorial, production, and project management work with clear training and support.
  • Updates online content for formatting, labeling, and other consistency changes.
  • Regularly reviews and fixes consistency issues identified by the team.
  • Supports accessibility by maintaining transcripts, Spanish, and other customer-facing tools.
  • Maintains documentation of style changes and other consistency issues as instructed.

Requirements
  • Available to work 35-40 hours per week during standard business hours.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working independently.
  • Attention to detail with strong organization skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Zoom, and Project Management tools.
  • Advanced experience with Google Sheets, including sorting and filtering, formulas, and cell formatting.
  • Interest in working in online content in a task-oriented environment.
  • Must have a personal laptop/computer using Windows or Mac OS that can run updated versions of provided systems/applications

This position is remote. The pay range for this position is between $18 and $25 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills and location.
