About the RoleThe Production Planner I is an entry-level position responsible for creating and maintaining efficient production schedules, ensuring that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to meet production goals and deadlines. This role involves working closely with various departments to coordinate production activities and optimize the use of resources. The Production Planner I will work under the guidance of senior planners and managers to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
In this role, you will ensure that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to support production activities while monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules as needed to address any delays or issues. You will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems to manage production schedules and inventory levels. Additionally, you will analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in scheduling and resource allocation and assist in the development and implementation of production planning policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will provide support and troubleshooting for production-related issues and perform data analysis to present relevant findings and suggestions to stakeholders.About You

We're looking for team members who align with our values, mission and goals - while also meeting the minimum qualifications below. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).

  • Typically entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience.

  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, ERP, MRP, MS Project, Excel.

  • Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or CIS.

  • Certification: APICS.

  • Experience using SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, Tableau.

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$55,248.00 - $75,965.25

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
