Job description

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.
We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our residential roofing team. As an entry-level roofer, you'll assist with roof installations and repairs while learning the trade in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installing and repairing residential roofing systems.
  • Carry and organize materials and tools on the job site.
  • Follow instructions from team leaders and foremen.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting materials and climbing ladders.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools (preferred but not required).
  • Physical ability to lift materials and work at heights.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 Years in roofing or other related fields preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work at great heights.
  • Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
