Job Summary:

CMT (Construction Materials Technician) field technician performs field tests on various construction materials like soil, concrete and asphalt to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications, in our Ft. Mohave, Arizona office.

Duties/Responsibilities: Perform Variety test on soils using ASTM methods, Ensure all tests are perform accurately and in a timely manner, record test results neatly, Maintain Lab equipment (cleaning, calibrating, organizing), Communicate with lab manager regarding samples and testing, Work well in a team environment, Follow safety protocols, Be able to lift materials and equipment up to 50 Ibs. , Attention to detail

Education/Qualifications: College grad (not required), High School Grad / GED equivalent

Physical Demands

• Physical examination required to obtain medical clearance to work (if needed)

• Ability to stoop, kneel and to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds

• Clean driving record and capable of being insured for driving company vehicles

• Able to work in variable outside conditions, including extreme heat or cold if need
