The Role at a Glance
In this role, you will be the operational backbone supporting both the expanding retail showroom and the manufacturing team. You’ll be the master of data entry, the keeper of financial organization, and the wizard behind a seamless digital workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Support & Data Entry
- QuickBooks Management: Accurately input financial data, custom customer orders, and retail transactions.
- Invoice Tracking: Sort, review, and enter incoming vendor invoices and receipts with precision.
- Audit & Match: Partner with the Lead Accountant to match purchase orders to invoices and spot any discrepancies before they become issues.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing the basic financial reports and tracking sheets that keep the business scaling smoothly.
Office & Clerical Administration
- Go Paperless: Scan, organize, and transition physical documents into pristine digital folders to maintain an ultra-efficient workflow.
- Keep Us Organized: Create and maintain up-to-date digital and physical filing systems.
- Showroom Support: Answer occasional phone calls, route messages, and provide a warm welcome to showroom visitors or design clients.
- Team Collaboration: Provide general administrative support to keep both the management and manufacturing teams running like a well-oiled machine.
What You Bring to the Table:
- The Software: Familiarity with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) will make your resume rise to the top! High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace is required.
- The Experience: Previous office or basic bookkeeping exposure is a plus—but we are fully willing to train the right person with the right attitude!
- The Mindset: A sharp eye for detail, absolute discretion with sensitive financial data, and a love for structured organization.
- The Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; any coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration is a huge bonus.
