Job description

Position Description
At Gubagoo, an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, we are looking for an entry level software developer to work in the Quality Assurance Department. In this role, you will work with the QA Team to code automated testing solutions designed to validate various software applications developed by Reynolds and Reynolds.
You will work as part of the development team to create automated test strategies and implement tests. By applying software engineering best practices, you will ensure continuous improvement in the software development process. You will work cross-functionally with product owners, developers, and designers to understand requirements, identify potential issues early, and support rapid test development. You will follow industry standard application testing techniques and practices as well as analyze automated test results and reports. As issues are identified, you will report them to the engineering team and follow-up with the QA team regarding their resolution.
This position requires a high attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a positive and mature attitude, and will be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Experience in an agile development environment (preferred); Experience with Selenium Webdriver, Appium, or similar tools (preferred); Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira (preferred); Understanding of Chrome Dev Tools (preferred); Previous experience developing automation test cases (preferred); Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
