Social Media Manager – Sales & Marketing

Location: 100% Remote – U.S.-Based
Contract Duration: 34 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM CT
Weekend Coverage: Occasional rotating Saturday/Sunday coverage, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CT

Job Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join the Baby & Child Care Team. This role focuses on managing social media channels, engaging directly with consumers, and creating a positive and consistent brand experience.

The Social Media Manager will serve as the voice of the brand externally and the voice of the consumer internally. You will work closely with Marketing, Consumer Services, Quality, Legal, IT, PR, and external agency partners to respond to consumer needs, identify emerging issues, and strengthen the company's social media presence.

This role is primarily focused on social media engagement and community management rather than social media strategy or campaign development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the company's owned social media channels.
  • Engage directly with consumers through comments, messages, and other social interactions.
  • Respond to consumer questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use Sprinklr to monitor, manage, and respond to social media interactions.
  • Monitor social conversations to identify trends, engagement opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Create and edit social media copy, consumer responses, FAQs, and other digital content.
  • Support social media initiatives, brand activations, and consumer engagement programs.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and engagement best practices.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across social media channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Gather consumer feedback and communicate relevant insights to internal departments.
  • Identify and escalate potential social media risks or sensitive consumer issues.
  • Represent the Consumer Engagement team professionally across social channels.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • English as a first language.
  • Hands-on Sprinklr experience required.
  • 1–2 years of relevant social media, community management, communications, or marketing experience.
  • Experience with social media copywriting and editing.
  • Experience directly engaging with consumers through social media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and judgment when handling consumer interactions.
  • Ability to identify and appropriately escalate potential social media risks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal departments and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus.
  • Personal or professional childcare experience is a plus.
  • Experience with consumer-facing brands, social customer care, or community management is preferred.

Work Environment

  • 100% remote for candidates located within the United States.
  • Reliable internet/Wi-Fi connection required.
  • Work hours will vary between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM CT, Monday–Friday, based on assigned schedule.
  • Occasional rotating weekend coverage may be required from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CT.
  • Must be comfortable working with multiple teams and representing the Consumer Engagement organization professionally.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a social media professional with strong community management and consumer engagement skills. The candidate should be comfortable communicating directly with consumers, creating social content, monitoring online conversations, and representing a brand professionally.

Hands-on Sprinklr experience is required. Candidates with experience in social media management, community management, social customer care, or consumer engagement are strongly encouraged to apply.
