We Are Looking For

The Machine Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for operating basic machinery under close supervision. This role supports production by following standard instructions and conducting initial quality checks. The Machine Operator, Level I, is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining low-complexity machinery. They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high-quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained.


What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator I you’ll be responsible for:

  • Operating low-complexity machinery following standard instructions, ensuring proper setup to produce product according to quality standards.
  • Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision, inspecting finished products for dimensional accuracy, integrity and compliance with aerospace specifications.
  • Report any issues or deviations to leads or supervisors, such as machine malfunctions, material defects, or non-conforming parts, providing clear observations for resolution.
  • Assist in loading and unloading raw materials into machines, verifying quantities and types against documentation under close oversight.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and report any issues that arise to a lead or supervisor.
  • Utilize basic computers skills to enter data into production systems and access work orders as guided by supervisors.
  • Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles clear, properly storing materials, and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.
  • Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards.


What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Previous experience in machine operations is preferred
  • Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment
  • Basic verbal skills to report issues and follow directives
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervision

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • ITAR Requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
