Job description

Our client is a software and systems development firm, built by veterans of the IC/DoD with a focus on delivering impactful solutions rapidly. They have a proven track record of success and are renowned for their expertise, attracting top talent and fostering a dynamic culture where "smart people solve hard problems" to ensure mission success. They are searching for talented Systems Engineer to provide site reliability engineering (SRE) to support multiple cross-functional project teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring applications, coordinating changes to the environment, and recommending technical and process improvements to improve resiliency and performance. Successful Systems Engineer SRE will have: - Experience leveraging cloud-native tools to build infrastructure and sustain applications in an AWS environment. - Experience writing cloud infrastructure as code (IaC)- Terraform.

- Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, and Helm. - Familiar delivering and debugging in a Linux environment. - Experience developing software in Python(preferred), Java, or JavaScript.

- Experience with relational databases- PostgreSQL, MySQL or document databases- Elasticsearh, Solr. - Experience with Git an Git-based workflows. - Experience providing tier 3 support; performing root cause analysis of failures.
