Salary range (but not limited to):

80,700 - 98,700

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

The DevOps will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of Intact Lab runtime environments across multiple data centers and cloud solutions. This role is integral in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of the platform, as well as implementing automation and effective monitoring strategies. The role also includes participating in a 24/7 on-call support rotation to maintain system operability and continuity.

What you'll do here:

  • Manage the installation and maintenance ofOpenshit Clusters across multiple on premise data centers, ensuring seamless operations and deployments.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of AWS resources, ensuring seamless operations and deployments.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance ofon premise runtime environments to meet business and user demands.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention using leading automation tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve runtime issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain service reliability.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation to ensure continuous system operability and address critical issues as they arise.

What you bring to the table:

  • Expertise in ensuring system availability, scalability, and performance, with a focus on delivering uninterrupted services.
  • Proficiency in using monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain high visibility into system operations and preemptively identify potential issues.
  • Skills in infrastructure automation, including scripting, Ansible, Terraform and use of CI/CD pipelines to streamline operations.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, reducing mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) / Openshift for container orchestration and GitHub action for automatic deployment.
  • Knowledge of SysAdmin / VM Management.
  • Knowledge of network concepts / Routing / Firewall basics
  • Strong onpremise/data center SRE experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Bilingualism (French/English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
