Job Brief:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Busser/Server Assistants are an entry level position.  While previous experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement.  

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow direction when given.

  • Set Up dining room for guests by cleaning and setting up restaurant for opening including but not limited to filling ice bins, stocking beer, moving kegs, cleaning, and maintaining guest restrooms, stocking liquor bottles etc.

  • Adhere to Sanitation and Food Safety standards.

  • Maintains a clean work environment for both guests and other employees.

  • Ability to stand for long hours, pick up 10-25 pounds frequently, and serve as the primary support for FOH restaurant needs.  Set-Up, Tear Down, Cleaning, and Maintenance of the property. 

  • Performs opening, running, and closing duties, as needed.

  • Assists co-workers with side work including, but not limited to wiping down tables, re-stocking, rolling silverware, etc.

  • The position is part-time but can go up to 40 hours a week based on the needs of the restaurant.

  • In addition, Assistance with running plated/glassed ready to serve food and cocktails is required. Assistance with grabbing condiments (Dipping sauces, ketchup, crackers, etc.,). Refilling waters, providing flatware, napkins, togo boxes, and plastic bags are customary contributions to the flow of service.

Job Qualification Requirements: All candidates for employment will be required to obtain the following:

  • San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card. (dph.sbcounty.gov)

  • Responsible Beverage Service Training and Certificate issued by California Alcohol Beverage Control (abcbiz.abc.ca.gov)

  • State issued Driver’s License/Identification Card

  • Social Security Card
