Prime Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Travel MRI Technologist (MRI Tech)
 

Contract Details
  • Position: MRI Technologist
  • Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
  • Start Date: 08/03/2026
  • Shift: Night Shift – 4x10 Hours (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 Weeks
  • On-Call Requirement: None
  • Travel Experience Required: No (First-Time Travelers Welcome)
  • Floating: No
  • Block Scheduling: Not Available
  • Local Candidates: Not Accepted (Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility)
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
  • Current BLS Certification
  • ARRT (R) Certification
  • ARRT (MR) Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Trauma Level I experience
  • Experience working in:
    • Adult Acute Care
    • Adult ICU
    • Adult Outpatient
    • ER/Trauma
    • Pediatric Acute Care
    • Pediatric Outpatient
MRI Department Overview

This department primarily performs:

  • Brain MRI studies
  • Spine MRI studies (Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar)
  • Abdominal imaging
  • Extremity and musculoskeletal imaging

The department does not perform:

  • Enterography
  • Prostate MRI
  • Cardiac MRI
  • Breast MRI

The MRI team works extensively with:

  • ICU patients
  • Anesthesia-supported patients

This is an excellent opportunity for MRI Technologists seeking experience in a highly respected Magnet and Level II Trauma facility while working with advanced MRI technology and a diverse patient population.
