SUPPORT STAFF (HOST, FOOD RUNNER, EXPO)
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager
Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal with potential for year-round

POSITION OVERVIEW
Riverside Country Club is seeking motivated, customer-oriented Support Staff including Hosts, Food Runners, and Expeditors (Expos). These entry-level positions are essential to delivering a seamless dining experience for our members and guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide outstanding customer service to Riverside members and guests.
  • Greet and seat members and guests; communicate arrivals to service staff.
  • Answer the phone and take dining reservations.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary dining areas.
  • Adhere to all health codes and RCC cleaning procedures.
  • Assist servers as needed during service.
  • Run food from the kitchen to the dining room accurately and promptly.
  • Oversee food presentation prior to leaving the kitchen (Expo role).
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to order specifications (Expo role).
  • Maintain par levels of line inventory (Expo role).
  • Must be 18+ years of age.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn multiple support roles (host, runner, expo).
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shift.
  • Ability to carry trays and lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a team environment.
