This is a highly collaborative role for someone who will be an SEO champion within the business. You'll proactively monitor our organic performance, identify opportunities and risks, and turn SEO insight into clear recommendations and priorities. • Proactively monitor and analyse organic search performance, identifying changes, risks and growth opportunities and translating these into clear recommendations and priorities.
  • Own the day-to-day SEO operation, setting clear briefs and priorities, challenging recommendations where appropriate and holding teams accountable for high-quality delivery and results.
  • Work closely with our SEO consultant to help translate SEO strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to embed SEO best practice, provide input into new products and site changes, and ensure SEO requirements are understood and successfully implemented.
  • Identify and diagnose technical SEO opportunities and issues across areas including crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking and structured data, working with Engineering on implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with Content and Marketing teams on keyword research, search demand, content optimisation, competitor analysis and opportunities to strengthen organic visibility.
  • Monitor search engine developments, competitor activity and emerging AI search and LLM discovery trends, identifying opportunities to test, learn and evolve our approach.
Skills & Experience
  • 4-5+ years of SEO experience, with a strong background on technical and on-page SEO and knowledge of Digital PR and how it complements SEO efforts.
  • A proven track record of using SEO insight and recommendations to improve organic performance on medium to large sites, e-commerce or platforms with short lived content.
  • Good technical SEO knowledge, including crawling and indexing, site architecture, internal linking, structured data and rendering JavaScript / dynamic content with the ability to work effectively with Engineering teams on implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and enterprise SEO and crawling tools to understand performance, test and discover issues.
  • Experience managing SEO agencies or specialist partners, with the confidence to set priorities, challenge recommendations and drive high-quality delivery.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills, with experience influencing Product, Engineering and other non-SEO stakeholders and translating SEO requirements into clear business recommendations.
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach, with the curiosity to investigate performance changes, identify opportunities and prioritise activity according to likely business impact.
  • A good foundational understanding of AI-powered search, LLMs and emerging approaches to search visibility, alongside a genuine curiosity to develop your knowledge as the landscape evolves.

  • Must be located in and eligible to work in the UK
  • Must have a 2:1 degree or equivalent (e.g. apprenticeship)
Benefits

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
