Position: Pega BPM Sr. Developer

Location: New York City, NY

Position Type: Possible 3 Month CTH or Long term contract

Job description: 


Main Function:

         They will be integral to the development of a new client management platform for the Client Lifecycle program which will automate a significant number of processes and allow Barclays to become the Go-To bank for client management.

         The role will part of a development team tasked with creating the new platform.

         This individual will be responsible for designing, architecting, assisting development and developing BPM applications using Pega PRPC.

         The applications are high-profile and in early stages. 


Responsibilities:

        
Architect, design and develop BPM applications

         Fully understand business needs and requirements

         Lead the effort in gathering and understanding requirements and use cases

         Perform solution architecture and design within Pega PRPC

         Drive creation and integration of web services/databases/legacy systems

         Design class structure, data models and application frameworks

         Lead software development activities

         Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including reviewing alert logs

         Enforce best practices in Pega architecture / design / coding and monitor guardrails

         Interface with business team to assist in conducting business analysis and requirements gathering.
