What is an Entry Level Selenium job?

An Entry Level Selenium job involves using Selenium, an open-source automation testing tool, to write and execute test scripts for web applications. Professionals in this role typically work on automating browser interactions to ensure software functionality and performance. They collaborate with developers and testers to identify bugs and optimize testing processes. Basic knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, programming languages like Java or Python, and test frameworks is usually required.

What does a typical day look like for someone in an Entry Level Selenium role?

A typical day in an Entry Level Selenium position involves executing automated test scripts, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and QA team members to verify software quality. You may spend time writing or updating automation code, participating in daily stand-ups, and reviewing test results with your team. There is also an opportunity to learn new testing tools and techniques while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard development workflows. This role often fosters a supportive environment for skill development and professional growth, making it an ideal starting point for a future career in software quality assurance.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Entry Level Selenium position, and why are they important?
