Job description

Lord & Winter is seeking a motivated Staff Scientist I to support natural resource and environmental projects throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. This hybrid role includes a mix of field work, office collaboration, and remote work.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct wetland delineations, stream assessments, and ecological field investigations.
  • Collect field data, GPS points, photographs, and site documentation.
  • Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, figures, and project documentation.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of environmental consulting or natural resources experience.
