Entry-Level Pharma Biochemist

We currently have a role available for an entry-level Pharma Biochemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Running weekly in vitro assays.
  • Performing LC-MS/MS bioanalytical quantitation supporting ADME assays using Sciex 6500.
  • Providing in-vitro assay support across the full range of assays offered (e.g., permeability, metabolic stability, plasma protein binding, CYP inhibition, solubility, and related ADME endpoints).
  • Supporting and executing automated workflows using Hamilton STAR/STARlet liquid handling platforms and High-Res Bio systems for assay execution.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely electronic lab notebook (ELN) records.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • BS-Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 0-1 year of industrial lab and/or academic research experience. MS and PhD candidates will not be considered for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Works well both as a team and as an individual.
  • Team player mentality with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have good organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

This is a day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time).
