Job description

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking knowledgable and affirming tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12. at our Hingham, MA Chapter.

This position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above average pay rate.

Level: Entry level

Location: Hingham, MA

Position: SAT Tutor (Reading/Writing or Math)

Classification: Employee (W2)

The Position:

Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center

Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes

3-12 hours per week of availability

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Holds a B.A. degree.
  • Subject Mastery: Strong past test scores on SAT or ACT
  • Tech Savvy: Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
  • Experience: Teaching, classroom experience, and tutoring experience are preferred but not required.
