Service Technician I - Utility Scale Solar - Road Warriors Needed!
Job Summary:
The Service Technician I will work closely with the Director of Field Operations, Commissioning & Warranty Manager, and other Service Technicians to ensure that the customer's needs are satisfied appropriately and timely. The successful candidate must be willing to travel up to 90% of a given calendar year. As a Service Technician I, you must be willing and able to learn the intricacies of Array's tracker portfolio, work in a team environment, and aid in retrofits, commissioning, and repowering efforts.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Support field efforts on the following, but not limited to:
  • Retrofits
  • Repowering
  • Commissioning
  • Service Repairs
  • Ensure tools and equipment needed during a variety of field-related efforts are operating properly
  • Managing Concur's expense reporting system
  • Submit Field Service Reports on daily activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Willingness for extensive, frequent travel - up to 90%
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Experience using basic hand tools
  • Basic math skills
  • Entry-level knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Entry-level knowledge of electrical systems
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer-facing presence
  • Dexterity required to perform manual labor in extreme temperatures
