Job description

The North American Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement (SSOE) team is seeking an entry-level Sales Operations Analyst to support the Small and Medium Business (SMB) team.
The candidate in this position will play a foundational role in supporting the SMB go-to-market strategy through data analysis and operational reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in sales operations who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to drive business decisions. The Sales Operations Analyst will focus on core operational activities including standard reporting, revenue routing, compensation escalations, and data analysis

The analyst will generate and maintain regular cadenced reports including weekly, monthly, and quarterly business metrics for SMB leadership, support the accurate routing and tracking of revenue across SMB territories and segments, and assist with comp plan inquiries, escalations, and resolution tracking to ensure sales representatives are compensated accurately. A critical aspect of the role involves conducting deep dives into business data to answer specific questions that enable Sales Operations Leads and sales leaders to make informed strategic decisions, as well as contributing to rhythm of business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, quarterly planning cycles, and ad-hoc reporting requests.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working with data, learning new systems, and asking clarifying questions when faced with ambiguity. This role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends, proficiency in data tools and willingness to learn internal systems (experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools is a plus), excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

We're looking for someone with an eagerness to experiment with emerging tools including GenAI for productivity and analysis, along with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams in a matrixed environment.
This position offers significant learning and development opportunities. As the analyst gains experience and demonstrates proficiency in core responsibilities, there will be opportunities to expand into more strategic areas such as territory planning, headcount allocation, target setting, and operational strategy development. The position works closely with SMB Sales leadership, senior Sales Operations Leads, Finance, Tools and Technology teams, and Partner teams

The candidate will gain broad exposure to sales operations functions and develop a comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle. We're looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, learn quickly, and grow into a trusted partner for the SMB sales organization.
