We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a motivated and accomplished Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The Sales Development Representative at VIVA Software plays a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and exploring potential leads and setting the stage for further sales pursuits. By working closely with both marketing and sales teams, you will help create a seamless transition from initial interest to active negotiation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work every assigned inbound lead within 5 minutes — speed-to-lead is priority #1.
  • Relentless follow-up on aging inbound leads using a call → SMS → email cadence.
  • Outbound prospecting by phone into your assigned territory/industry to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Build and refresh your hit list of companies actively sponsoring or re-posting jobs on platforms like Indeed & ZipRecruiter — our highest-intent signal for potential leads.
  • Confirm today's and tomorrow's demonstrations via SMS to ensure high show rates.
  • Maintain discipline in using HubSpot to log every interaction, update sales stages, and set next steps efficiently.
  • Deliver a warm handoff note to the Account Executive for every successfully booked demonstration, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining client engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven phone confidence and ability to establish quick rapport with new contacts — this role involves significant dialing.
  • Strict adherence to speed-to-lead disciplines, ensuring every lead is contacted within 5 minutes of identification.
  • Ability to communicate crisply through SMS and email, keeping messages short, human, and ECSO-driven (Engaging, Clear, Simple, Objective).
  • Strong skills in discovery and qualification, with a keen eye for identifying re-posting intent signals among potential clients.
