Job description

About Outreach
Outreach, founded in 2014, is the only complete agentic AI platform for revenue teams. Outreach infuses agentic AI, conversation intelligence, and assistive AI to power hundreds of use cases across revenue motions. From new logo prospecting to expansions, deal acceleration, driving retention, and forecasting, Outreach AI automates workflows and frees sellers to focus on more strategic conversations and actions. Revenue leaders benefit from connected account visibility, performance insights, and higher forecasting accuracy across every GTM team. World leading enterprise organizations use Outreach to power their revenue teams, including Databricks, SAP, Siemens, and Verizon to name a few.
About the Team
Our Sales Development team is a culture of success where the future top sellers and leaders of our organization get their start. Our team is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for our Account Executive partners.
Our team gains business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, what their pain points are, and obstacles they face in their business. We then turn around and leverage that information to spark interest in Outreach by connecting the dots from their challenges to the value that Outreach could provide them.
We are product experts for Outreach because we use the very product we sell. This gives SDRs a unique competitive advantage because we understand firsthand how our software can help sales teams be successful.
Many of our SDRs go on to become Account Executives and team leaders within Outreach. This team is built as a launchpad, not a landing spot.
The Role
As an Outreach Sales Development Representative (SDR), you're the front line of our revenue engine, identifying active buying interest and key decision makers, then positioning the Outreach value proposition to create qualified opportunities for our Account Executive partners. Every conversation you have directly fuels the pipeline that drives company growth.
You'll get hands-on with AI as part of daily work, not as a side project. You'll use AI tools to speed up account research, sharpen personalization at scale, and prioritize the conversations most likely to convert - giving you more time for the parts of the job that require real judgment: reading a stakeholder, adjusting your pitch in real time, and building trust.
We invest in your success through 1:1 coaching, active enablement, and hands-on training. You bring the drive to succeed, and we bring the tools and development to help you get there.
Location: US - Atlanta (Hybrid - in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
  • Prospect & Engage: Identify and engage senior decision-makers (C-suite, VPs, Directors) across US organizations using a multi-channel approach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and events), including making 45+ outbound calls each day to prospective clients in the United States Enterprise and Mid Market Segment
  • Outreach AI Agents: Use Outreach AI Agents to research potential customers, account map and sequencing
  • Qualification: Lead discovery conversations to assess business needs, timelines, and fit before handing over opportunities to Account Executives
  • Collaboration: Partner with regional marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, share market insights, improve conversion rates, and organize pipeline handoffs with Account Executives for qualified meetings
  • CRM Management: Maintain clean and accurate data in Salesforce to track engagement and pipeline performance
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on global market trends, competitive activity, and industry changes that influence buying behavior

Our Vision of You
  • You pick up new tools quickly and apply them with confidence; Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and AI-powered prospecting tools included
  • You've used AI tools in your day-to-day work and know how they can speed up research, sharpen outreach, and free you up to focus on the conversations that matter and you're excited to keep growing that skill as our tools evolve
  • Ability to think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
  • Demonstrate empathy for customers' struggles and obstacles
  • Resilient in the face of objections and rejection
  • A driven team player; someone who thrives on shared wins, actively lifts others up, and shows up as an engaged contributor in group settings
  • A driven individual with a desire to succeed
  • Naturally inquisitive, with the ability to compose compelling messaging to prospects

$83,000 - $88,000 a year
Compensation for this role is comprised of an annual base salary and a variable component, ranging between $83,000 - $88,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, location and experience. Final offers are determined through a holistic assessment and will vary within the posted range. Your recruiter will share specific details based on your location and role during the hiring process. This is a non-exempt role, and as such is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and applicable state laws. This role requires consistent and accurate logging of hours in our HRIS system.
Why You'll Love It Here
• Flexible time off
• 401k to help you save for the future
• Generous medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees and their dependents
• A parental leave program that includes options for a paid night nurse, and a gradual return to work
• Infertility/ assisted reproductive services benefit
• Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team
• Snacks and beverages in the Office, along with fun events to celebrate
• Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups like Outreach Women's Network, Latinx community, Outreach Black Connection, AAPI community, Pride/LGBTQIA+, Gender+, Disability Community, and Veterans/Military
Outreach is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
Our success is reliant on building teams that include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can elevate assumptions and ideas with fresh perspectives. We're dedicated to hiring the whole human, not just a resume. To that end, we look for a diverse pool of applicants-including those from historically marginalized groups. We would like to invite you to apply even if you don't think you meet all of the requirements listed below. We don't want a few lines in a job description to get between us and the opportunity to meet you.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
