We are excited to hire an Entry Level Business Development Representative with a focus on Industrial Warehouse and Packaging Supplies.  This is a full-time position with exceptional benefits and an opportunity to become an important part of our rapidly growing global company.  This is a perfect position for someone who wants to grow and learn to manage both simple and complex sales.  The role of the Business Development Representative is just as the title states which is to build and execute a plan to grow and develop profitable new business within your territory.  This position is supported with a comprehensive on boarding, training and mentoring program designed to help you make an immediate impact on developing and growing profitable sales.

Responsibilities:

You will work towards growing sales and gross margins in your territory by:

  • Identifying, Qualifying and Selling products and innovative solutions to new customers.
  • Introducing and selling products and innovative solutions to current customers.
  • Introducing and selling product categories to current customers who purchase elsewhere.
  • Replacing competitive products of non-preferred vendors with preferred vendor products.
  • Upselling current customers to new services that provide solutions and improve the customers business.
  • Introducing and implementing new services that help improve our customers experience with Bunzl Industrial

Requirements:

  • A college or University degree or diploma
  • 1-3 years of successful account sales/management experience.
  • Effectively deliver both verbal and written communication
  • An aptitude for organization and time management
  • Strong selling skills
  • Self starter yet open to collaborating with a strong team.
  • Previous experience managing clients within the industrial and packaging industries will be considered an asset
