We are looking for a Fleet Sales Manager to service the Great Lakes Region.

Preferred states of residence: Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio.

What you can look forward to as a Fleet Sales Account Manager: 

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve or exceed fleet new vehicle sales targets. Identify, prospect, and acquire new commercial fleet accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Fleet managers, Fleet owners, procurement professionals, and key decision-makers. Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned fleet customers.
  • Manage long-term customer relationships to maximize retention and repeat business.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Initiate and participate in customer events.
  • Provide premium customer service (information, support, training etc.) and solve customer problems through customized solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Analyze and report territory performance and develop strategies to increase market share and identify emerging fleet opportunities in key industries such as construction, utilities, telecommunications, and government sectors.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and fleet presentations.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contract documentation. Negotiate contracts, promotional programs, and fleet agreements while maintaining profitability objectives.

Your profile as a Fleet Sales Account Manager: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 6+ years of sales experience, in the heavy truck/trailer industry and/or automotive market, commercial vehicle, transportation, fleet management, or related industries
  • Experience with calling on commercial heavy truck fleets
  • Deep understanding of the local commercial vehicle market
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory

*Ability/willingness to travel, on average, 50% annually
